Saki Georgiadis

Saki has been investing in mental health and wellness since 2012 and was an early investor in some iconic companies of the space: Calm, BetterUp and more recently Foresight Mental Health and Grow Therapy. 

His early career was in Private Equity. He worked in New York, London and Singapore, setting up offices and building high performance investment teams. He did a number of deals in healthcare delivering 2.5x returns.

He has also worked as a talent management expert for PE funds helping design processes for CEO assessment. This expertise has shaped Evio’s proprietary founder assessment process.

Nathan Romano

Nathan Romano is a seasoned finance and investment leader with over two decades of experience in banking, consulting, and asset management. As the newly appointed Chairman of Evio, he brings a wealth of expertise in financial strategy, capital markets, and investment leadership, helping shape the firm’s future in venture capital.

Throughout his career, Nathan has held executive roles at some of the most prestigious financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Bear Stearns, and Bain & Co. His extensive background in finance and consulting has equipped him with the strategic acumen to navigate complex investment landscapes and drive sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Evio, Nathan served as President of York Capital ($18B AUM) and President of Atalaya Capital ($10B AUM), overseeing large-scale investment portfolios and leading key growth initiatives. He is also the Founder of Collaborative Capital, a firm dedicated to innovative investment solutions.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Nathan has been deeply involved in philanthropy and mental health advocacy. He has spent 19 years with NAMI-NYC (National Alliance on Mental Illness, New York City), where he currently serves as Chairman Emeritus. His commitment to mental health aligns closely with Evio’s mission, making his leadership a strategic and values-driven addition to the firm.

As Chairman of Evio, Nathan will play a pivotal role in guiding the firm’s investment strategy, strengthening its position in early-stage venture capital, and fostering meaningful partnerships across the industry. His leadership is set to accelerate Evio’s growth as a premier fund supporting high-impact founders.

Christy Maselli is the VP of Operations for incubations at Evio.

She started her career in neuropsychology research before transitioning into business operations. At Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund by AUM, she served as Chief of Staff to the COO of Technology.

In 2020, she joined Grow Therapy as its first non-founder employee after their Pre-Seed round, helping scale the company to over $800M in revenue and 400+ employees.

Christy also advises care delivery companies on provider onboarding and insurance operations to drive scalable revenue growth.

Matt Milford

Matt, is the Founder and CEO of Arche, a venture studio focused on mental health. He previously attended UC Berkeley to study engineering and computer science before dropping out to build Foresight Mental Health. 

As co-CEO, he successfully grew Foresight into one of the largest outpatient mental healthcare companies in the US. Some of his accomplishments at Foresight include expanding to $50m+ in ARR, contracting with 100+ health plans, and raising $100m+ in venture capital from investors including Sequoia.

At Evio Matt is responsible for deal and founder assessment, as well as mentoring founders post-investment. He also adds significant value through his extensive network in mental health.

Shiv Bhavnani

In 2019, he founded the Global Institute of Mental & Brain Health Investment (GIMBHI) with the mission of serving the mental & brain health innovation ecosystem. GIMBHI’s insights have been featured by McKinsey, Bessemer Venture Partners, Axios, Business Insider, Entrepreneur, Nature, JPMorgan, and many others.

Shivan is an advisor to mental health-focused startups and funds including One Mind Accelerator & ReKlame Health. Shivan has additional experience in venture from prior roles with Two Bridge Capital, the Noetic Fund and Vynn Capital. He also completed a Fellowship at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry. He started his career in credit working with Morgan Stanley, Willis and S&P.

He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Duke University. Shivan is based in New York

Nick has a decade of professional experience spanning digital marketing, market research and operations.

As the founder of a full-stack digital marketing agency he has worked closely with early stage business owners. He frequently assumed fractional CMO / COO duties and has led business transformation projects.

At Evio Nick is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence and firm marketing and operations. He also often rolls up his sleeves and helps portfolio companies with their digital marketing efforts.

James Roycroft-Davis

James brings a distinctive blend of founder experience, mental health advocacy, and community building expertise to Evio. 

His entrepreneurial journey spans nearly a decade across multiple industries, complemented by two years of angel investing in mental health, AI, and fintech startups. As a community building expert, James has created and scaled founder and wellness communities reaching over 2,000 members.

At Evio, he leads EMEA operations & supporting the US, focusing on deal sourcing and due diligence while supporting portfolio companies with community building and product development strategies.

Konstantinos Karalivanos

Konstantinos brings over a decade of experience across growth, performance marketing, analytics, and strategy.

He has led digital and brand marketing at early-stage startups, driving measurable results in customer acquisition and revenue growth.

As a founder, Konstantinos built a mental health platform and an information services platform, where he shaped both product and marketing strategy.

At Evio, he is focused on driving new ventures from ideation to launch, supporting incubations hands-on while contributing to startup screening and investment research.

George Zalikas

George is a graphic designer with seven years of experience across branding, print, web, and UI/UX. He previously founded and led a creative agency, managing design and marketing across multiple industries.

At Evio VC, he supports both internal projects and incubated ventures with brand, web, and product design. He brings a sharp creative eye and a strategic mindset to every project he touches.

Alex Auerbach

Alex has extensive experience in helping individuals and teams adopt the mindsets necessary to excel when it matters most.

He has worked with elite performers across various domains, including the NBA, NFL, Olympians, Army Special Forces, Fortune 500 companies, and venture-backed startups.

As a licensed counseling and sport psychologist, certified mental performance consultant, and board-certified coach, Alex specializes in talent identification and selection, team and culture building, and creating systems that support both performance and well-being. He is passionate about optimizing performance and enhancing overall wellness.

Alex is known for his deep understanding of the science of performance psychology and potential. Through his coaching and writings, he shares valuable insights into the strategies and techniques that drive peak performance.

Morgan Hewett

Morgan is the former founder and CEO of OptionsMD, a telemedicine company focused on improving the most serious cases of mental illnesses, including treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and suicidal ideation. Options MD was acquired by Resilience Lab, an AI-powered teletherapy provider in September 2024.

Morgan’s prior experience spans new product development, marketing strategy, and leading the healthcare segment at Meta. She is an advocate and ally for the mental health industry, having experienced first hand a family member’s suicide scare, leading to the birth of OptionsMD.

Morgan has been recognized in top publications such as Business Insider and Forbes Magazine. Outside of Options MD, Morgan is a fan of stand-up comedy and spends her spare time learning to surf!

Dr Samoon Ahmad

Dr Ahmad a physician with over 30 years of experience, specializes in treating bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, and PTSD.
He founded the Integrative Center for Wellness, which uses a holistic approach integrating pharmacological treatment, therapy, diet, and lifestyle modifications.

He is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and served over 20 years as Unit Chief of an acute psychiatric inpatient unit in a New York City hospital.
He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and serves as Mental Health Equity Ambassador.

Additionally, he is an International Associate Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK, and holds licenses in NY, MA, CT, CA, FL, ME, and PA. Dr. Ahmad lectures on mood disorders, schizophrenia, metabolic disorders, and cannabis.

His research focuses on psychiatric co-morbidities related to obesity and metabolic disorder, while he has significant contributions to various psychiatry textbooks with upcoming works on psychedelics and nutrition’s role in mental health.

Max Newlon

Max is a neurotech entrepreneur and human potential investor. He was previously the President of BrainCo, a brain-computer interface (BCI) company incubated in the Harvard Innovation Lab that is unlocking the potential of neurotechnology for every person on the planet.

BrainCo’s products provide amputees with the world’s most intuitive prosthetic hand, give students hands-on neurotech learning experiences, and offer Olympic teams, F1 drivers, and everyday people a brain-sensing wearable and app to live calmer and more focused lives with FocusCalm.

Max spent the last decade studying cognitive science and neuroscience, human development, and mind-body approaches to wellness and performance.

Before BrainCo he earned his master’s degree from Harvard University, worked in leadership development, and conducted fMRI research at some of the best hospitals in the world on the impact of meditation and yoga on the brain, as well as the impact of invasive BCI technology on people with Parkinson’s disease.

Mike Radocchia

Mike is a digital health operator and advisor. As VP of Strategy & New Markets at Big Health – a leader in digital therapeutics for mental health – Mike led innovative growth efforts for the company, including launching its first-of-its kind strategic partnership with CVS Health and helping scale the company to over 50 Fortune 500 clients.

He started his career in strategy consulting for pharmaceutical companies at ClearView Healthcare Partners, where he supported commercialization of several psychiatric drugs. He has degrees in Neuroscience and Biotechnology from University of Pennsylvania.

Melissa Reilly

Melissa Reilly is a seasoned healthcare executive who has shaped over 300 innovation projects between payers, startups, and employers to drive meaningful change in care delivery and access.

During her tenure as Chief Growth and Strategy Officer at Evernorth Behavioral Health, she developed the national behavioral strategy for Cigna and led the sales, growth and project management organizations. She previously held product, partnership and strategic leadership roles at UnitedHealth, Aetna and Optum and drove commercialization efforts for portfolio companies at Optum Ventures.

With deep expertise in reimbursement, go-to-market, deal structure and performance efficiencies, Melissa Reilly collaborates to bridge innovation with execution and accelerate healthcare transformation and now advises companies full time.

She holds a JD/MBA and a BBA in Finance and a certificate in mediation.
